New entrants may be confused by many terms in the air compressor industry. The following edition will introduce some commonly used words to you:
Screw Air Compressor
Air compressor is called air compressor; according to the working principle of twin-screw (also known as Yinyang rotor) rotating machine with variable gas volume, it can complete the work by inhaling some internal natural air and eventually discharging compressed air to meet the pressure requirements. This machine is called screw air compressor.
Working Pressure of Air Compressor
There are many expressions of pressure units. Here, the commonly used pressure units of screw air compressor are mainly introduced.
(1) Work pressure is high, domestic users often say that the exhaust pressure is high. The working pressure is the highest pressure of the air compressor.
(2)常用工作压力单位:bar或Mpa, 1 bar = 0.1mpa;
(2) Commonly used work pressure units: bar or Mpa, 1 bar = 0.1 mpa;
(3)常见时，用户通常将压力单位称为:Kg (Kg)， 1bar = 1kg。
(3) Usually, users call pressure units Kg (Kg), 1bar = 1kg.
Volumetric Flow of Air Compressor
Large flow, domestic users often say that large displacement. Volumetric flow refers to the amount of gas discharged by an air compressor that is converted into an intake state per unit time under the required exhaust pressure.
(2)容积流量单位:m3/min(立方/分)或L/ min(升/分)，1m3(立方)= 1000L(升);

Air compressor power
(1) In general, the power of air compressor refers to the matching power of driving motor or diesel engine nameplate;

Volumetric flow is also called displacement flow or nameplate flow in China.
Simply speaking, under the requirement of exhaust pressure, the air compressor unit time will convert the exhaust gas into the intake state, that is, the first intake receives under the suction pressure and the volume value of the suction temperature and humidity. The unit is m3/min.
B. Exhaust pressure:
Reducing the pressure in the index industry is what we call high school pressure. The pressure measured at zero atmospheric pressure is called gauge pressure. Absolute pressure is called absolute pressure when the pressure in absolute vacuum is zero. Usually the exhaust pressure given on the nameplate of the compressor is gauge pressure. The unit is MPa or bar.
C. Gas and oil content:
The quality of oil (including oil droplets, suspended particles and oil vapor) per unit volume in compressed air is converted to absolute pressure of 0.1 mpa, temperature of 20 C, relative humidity of 65% and unit mg/m3 under specified atmospheric conditions.
A symbol representing the amount of trace substances in a mixture in units of one millionth or one millionth (PPMw and PPMV by weight and volume). Generally speaking, what we call PPM is the weight ratio. (One millionth of a kilogram is milligram)

E. Dew Point Temperature
The temperature at which the wet air is cooled under constant pressure changes the unsaturated vapor in the air into saturated vapor, or when the temperature of the air drops to dew point, the unsaturated vapor in the air reaches saturation.
Compressor Volume Flow and Air Consumption of Pneumatic Components
Compressor volume flow is free air flow, pneumatic components consumption is compressed air flow.
The conversion formula is Q from= Q pressure* and loss m3/min.
